It’s true! McDonald's global headquarters in Chicago has a limited time offering of a Chicken Big Mac on their menu. Historically, these global menu items have associated with a McDonald’s menu somewhere around the world, it appears this Chicken Big Mac is currently available in parts of Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands since maybe as early as 2017.
Typically the McDonald’s HQ restaurant location keeps these menu items available for a few weeks/months and it’s good to see the latest offerings which include a Cheesy Bacon Supreme and Egg & Mushroom Kaiser Roll sando from Poland and Garlic Pepper Criscut Fries from China. That Cheesy Bacon Supreme looks wild — is that bacon, beef and chicken? Onion ring? on cheddar bun?
We’re so curious how this tastes. The Big Mac is a hall of fame, number retired in the rafters type of fast food sandwich and burger — swapping out the beef for chicken is a mind fuck. Is it McChicken Chicken? Is it a new chicken? With the fast food chicken wars still raging, we’re always curious about any new fast food chicken sando in the market.
If you’re in Chicago, you can grab these on the delivery apps or stop by the location at 1035 W Randolph in the West Loop. We have ZERO clue how long it will be available.
