Hey, cheeseheads! Corey and Sean from Number Six With Cheese here, and we've got a taste bud tingling adventure for you today. We recently embarked on a culinary journey that's close to our Chicagoan hearts – the ultimate hot dog showdown between Wrigley Field and Guaranteed Rate Field. Cubs vs. White Sox, baby! ⚾🌭
First off, let's talk ambiance. Wrigley Field, the iconic home of the Cubs, has that classic, old-school charm. The ivy-covered walls, the lively crowd – it's like stepping into a time machine where baseball reigns supreme. Guaranteed Rate Field, on the other hand, brings a more modern vibe. It's sleek, it's shiny, and it's ready to welcome the die-hard White Sox fans. Two different atmospheres, one common goal – to chow down on some legendary Chicago dogs.
Now, the main event – the hot dogs. We just went with stand Dogs with Mustard on them. Keep it simple, keep it classic. With that being said, at the end of the day both these dogs we’re basically neck and neck with each other. There’s two things that came into play with picking the winner. One was price. One dog was a solid dollar fifty cheaper. And B, love. The loser dog just didn’t have any love in its build.
The bun was kind of cold. The dog a little uglier. The loser dog just didn’t have the same love as the champion Chicago Ballpark Dog. So who was it? You should have know once we said it was cheaper, the White Sox won of course!
Those rich frat boys up in Wrigley don’t know how to price a damn hot dog! You should have just assumed that!
Check the video out if you want some deeper detail into the battle (or maybe you just want to see some cool shots of the stadiums).
