As Fast Food Reviewers we’re pretty on top of new releases but being in Chicago we’re rarely blessed with test market items. Well that changed a few weeks ago.
Taco Bell is currently testing their Breakfast Tot Bowl in Chicago and we were too excited to try it.
Priced at $4.49 and being that it was decently filling it felt fairly priced. Although I think we can all agree prices are getting out of control right now with Fast Food but that’s a story for another time.
The item has seasoned tater tots, scrambled eggs, a choice of sausage or bacon (we got one of each), a three cheese blend of mozzarella, pepper jack, and cheddar, it’s topped off with a drizzle of Taco Bell’s creamy jalapeno sauce.
I’ve gotta tell ya, it all came together in a pretty great way. As is usually the case with Fast Food it’s heavily dependent on the build you get. Lucky for us our normal Taco Bell location always crushes it. As long as though don’t slouch on ingredients this thing is well worth trying. But hey, I can sit here and type about it all day.
