The 5 Foods We Ordered At Wrigley Field | Over $100 Of Food

Me and my boy Sean went to Wrigley with a simple mission. To find the best food at Wrigley field and here’s what we got from our least favorite to the best!

The Standard Dog

We’ll start simple, the standard dog. We got one with mustard, as simple as it gets. We would have put onions on them but they didn’t have that option at the kiosk we hit up. I did however see them at most other spots. I was just the unlucky idiot who missed out on the joy of onions on a dog.

So how was it? Well at $6.99 before tax it was a little pricey for what you got but that’s pretty par for the course when it comes to ballpark food. It was also a bummer to not have onions as an option at our kiosk so this item’s getting the lowest ranking on my totem pole of Wrigley Field Food!

Lillie’s Q BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

Next up we got something could be great but took a bit of a stumble for us. Was it better than the dog? Absolutely! Was it worth the $20 price tag? That’s a tough one. For starters they handed it to me without sauce and I had to ask for it. The BBQ sauce is a big part of the Pulled Pork Sandwich if you ask me so I don’t think I should be having to ask for it. It was also came a little closer to luke warm than I would have liked. Spoiler Alert, that ended up being a them of Wrigley weirdly enough. Maybe we just hit them on an off night. I’ve heard those pulled pork sandwiches can be great if you get the right person making them. Unfortunately for us, we didn’t get the best version of it. Still was good though.

HOT DOUG’S

I’m going to start of the gates with a disclaimer. I’ve had Hot Doug’s at Wrigley and I’ve had be GREAT! I want you all to know that before you read further.

So went wrong? Well, we kept that unfortunate streak alive of another chilly meal. It was just barely lukewarm border lining on cold.

I got the Gene Clines, it’s got spicy polish sausage, sweet and spicy mustard, caramelized onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. It’s $11.99, a tough price to swallow but when these are made right they unbelievable.

Seam got the Bill Bonham, it’s got atomic pork sausage, cherry marmalade, and smoked gouda cheese, also running the $11.99 price tag. I mean come on! You know that’s going to be amazing. Even with it being a little on the chillier side I know it’s one of the best dogs in an American ballpark. It just wasn’t one that day.

HELMET NACHO’S

This one was a huge surprise favorite! Coming in at the second best spot of the night, the helmet nacho’s were not only tasty but there was soooo much that even at the $21 price mark it felt like the best deal of the day. I really felt like I could have split that with three friends, gotten full, and taken home a badass commemorative Cubs helmet. Wins across the board!

Sheffield’s Corner Quesabirria Tacos

These were the biggest surprise of the evening! You got two for $12.50, they came with a consume and believe it or not they were actually pretty good.

We’re they the best in the city? Hell no! But they were way better than I expected and they were honestly priced pretty well (for ballpark prices, not for reality).

If I had to go back and only pick one spot it would honestly be Sheffield’s Corner for those Quesabirria Tacos!
