Throughout the epic course of the Number Six With Cheese journey—which started in fall 2016—Corey and Sean have filmed and eaten 248 piping-hot pizzas on camera. And very few from that massive tally are even close to the level of the “Devil in the White City” that they devoured in the latest episode.
Craft Pizza (located at 1252 N Damen Ave, in the heart of Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood) is serving some of the most crispy, cheesy and perfectly-sauced pie you’ll find in the city, according to Corey and Sean. The joint boasts its “Neapolitan American East Coast Style” … but whatever you want to call it, there’s no chance you’ll watch this duo eat it and not want to try it for yourself.
There’s no question as to why Craft Pizza puts this as their “house favorite” on the menu.
“This pizza takes photos of itself,” said Sean, while snapping photos of it for the duo’s Instagram account.
Eight gigantic slices, 18-inches wide, featuring whole milk & fresh mozzarella, pecorino romano, hot capicollo, mama lil's spicy peppers, pepperoncinis, red onions, lots of fresh garlic, herbs, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil … and the boys added red sauce, too, at no extra charge. Craft Pizza also offers a 14’’ for a cheaper rate, too.
Corey’s left-handed red pepper packet dusting capped this thing off in the best way.
“These ingredients are great. This is a good-ass pizza,” said Corey poetically after his first couple bites.
